Glenwood Canyon Path
- Easy
16 miles - Travel on this popular path from the
vapor caves east of the Hot Springs Pool, along I-70
and the Colorado River to the east trailhead west of
Dotsero along the frontage road. Rest areas at No
Name, Grizzly Creek, Hanging Lake, and Bair Ranch.
Mitchell Creek Trail - Moderate to
Difficult
5 miles - Extends from Mitchell Creek (Co. Rod. 132)
to Transfer Trail. No parking at trailhead.
Park at the Glenwood Springs Fish Hatchery south of
trailhead.
Hiking only.
Storm King
Memorial Trail - Moderate to Difficult
1 mile to Observation Point - From 1-70,
Canyon Creek exit, go east on the frontage road to
the trailhead. Steep grade. Built by
volunteers in memory of firefighters who died in the
1994 South Canyon Fire. Hiking only. No
bicycles, horses, or motorized vehicles.

8 miles - From 1-70,
No Name exit, go north to the trailhead. The rocky
trail climbs through a deep, cliff sided canyon to
Transfer Trail. Hiking only.

Golay Trail - Moderate to Difficult
2 miles - Take 7th Street west, left on Midland
and right on 9th Street; the street dead ends at the
trailhead. The route traverses up Red Mountain
to an overlook. Moderate hiking trail.
Doc
Holliday's Trail - Easy
.5 miles - Trailhead at the intersection of
12th and Bennett; follow information signs.
Trail climbs to old cemetery and the grave of Doc
Holliday. Hiking only.
Deadhorse Trail - Difficult
6.5 miles - Climbs out of Glenwood Canyon from
the Hanging Lake Trail. Connects with Forest
Service Road 622 north to Coffee Pot Springs.
Trail steep and rocky in places. Hiking only.
